Alvin Hegner is a commercial executive with over 15 years of leadership experience in a multicultural dynamic operations environment in the aerospace industry. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Invest Turks and Caicos Islands, and a partner, board executive, and business advisor to enterprises in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Alvin was a Vice President at Delta Air Lines and a President at Delta Global Services, leading 21,000 employees across the United States.
As Chairman of the investment agency for Turks and Caicos Islands, Alvin works closely with the Board of Directors and the CEO on the structural framework and commercial activities of the agency.
Alvin has a proven track record of working with others on a global platform in the aerospace industry and local communities. He is educated in aeronautical science, aerospace industrial management, and quality/safety management. He has worked extensively in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, and has traveled and collaborated throughout Eastern Europe and Asia, with extensive time in China and Singapore. He is experienced and skilled in revenue management and business growth and has worked on commercial transactions of over $500M within a Fortune 500 company and within private equity. Alvin has negotiated contracts with government entities in China, Singapore, and the United States, and numerous companies around the world.
Alvin believes energy security is critical to the future of the Turks and Caicos Islands and supports diversification in energy sources, to enable the country to absorb disruptions around the world and maintain deliverables to customers.
